=====
Mrs. Jennie Livingston, 76, a resident of Lewiston since 192? and prominently identified with the cultural life of the community, died at 8:15 o'clock yesterday morning at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mrs. and Mrs. A.T. Schick, 605 Ninth Street where she resided. Death came after an illness of three months.

Mrs. Livingston was born at Chicago on May 19, 1867, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Livingston, and at an early age moved with her parents to Merrill, Wis., where she resided until coming to Lewiston 22 year ago.

Her marriage to David Livingston took place at Merrill. Her husband died in 1910.

Mrs. Livingston served Lewiston in many capacities. She was a member of the board of directors of the Children's Home; honorary member of the Altrusa Club; an active member of the Tsceminicum Club and a past member of the Y.W.C.A. board of this city. Unless illness prevented, she was interested in the work of the Anti-Tuberculosis association here.

Since Pearl Harbor, Mrs. Livingston devoted much of her time to working for the Red Cross, her work including completion of 49 helmets for men in the service and other articles for the fighting men. At the tie of her death, she was knitting her 50th helmet.

Mrs. Livingston was an accomplished musician and gave freely of her talent on many occasions. She was one of those promoting the Lewiston Concert Association to bring to Lewiston artists of national reputation.

Mrs. Livingston was an affiliate of the Order of Eastern Star at Merrill.

Survivors are her daughter, Mrs. A. T. Schick; her son, Clifford Livingston; Merrill; her brother, David Livingston, Beverly Hills, Calif.; five grandchildren, David Schick, Edward Livingston, Mrs. Lawrence Grimes, Marjory Helene Livingston and Clifford Livingston; and one great-grandchild, Patricia Grimes.

Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 10 o'clock from the Vassar-Rawls chapel with the Rev. Thomas McCamant as officiant. The body will be taken to Spokane for cremation and the ashes taken to Chicago where her husband rests.
