Lisa H. Damgaard, 50, of Ringtown, passed away Thursday at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born Sept. 17, 1963, she was the third of four children of Karin Christensen Damgaard, who passed 13 months earlier, and Peter Damgaard, who passed away in 1995.
She was a graduate of North Schuylkill High School and McCann School of Business.
Lisa worked several years as a supervisor in the collections department of Metropolitan Edison, Reading, prior to becoming a caregiver for her mother, Karin.
Lisa loved music, particularly Bruce Springsteen, whom she saw in concert several times during her life time.
Lisa is survived by three brothers, Jens Damgaard and his wife, Donna, Dauphin, Erik Damgaard and his wife, Ellen, Catawissa, and Peter Scott Damgaard, Elysburg. Lisa was a beloved aunt to seven nieces and nephews.
Lisa will be laid to rest alongside her parents during a graveside memorial service at 10 a.m. June 28 at United Methodist Cemetery, Ringtown. Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home, Ringtown, has charge of the arrangements. More information and directions are available at www.ringtownfuneral.com.
