James M. Adkins, 63, of 138 Leiter Road, Lucas, died at home Tuesday. Mr. Adkins was born August 15, 1921, in Olive Hill, KY., living here since 1945. he was an employee of the Mansfield Tire and Rubber Co., and served with the U.S. Army during World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Helen Adkins; two daughters and a son; five grandchildren; two brothers, Dee of Warren and Lenoris of Sharpsville, PA.; three sisters, Lola Conn of Olive Hill, KY., Jewell Jacobs and Georgia Messer, both of Mansfield.
Funeral services will be held Saturday in Wappner Funerla Home by the Rev. Robert A. Meyer of the First Apostolic Church. Burial will be in Mansfield Memorial Park, where military services will be held.
