Marguerite A. Bowers, 84, passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2006. Born Nov. 12, 1921, in Curwensville, Pa., to Sarafina and Antonio Pastori, Marguerite was one of seven children. Marguerite married Lloyd G. Bowers in Curwensville, Pa., April 5, 1941. She had lived in the Uniontown area since 1953, and was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and the Goodyear Retirees Club. While in her fifties, she obtained her real estate license. Marguerite was proudest of the three sons she raised. Her husband of 64 years, Lloyd, passed away Dec. 7, 2005. Marguerite is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Charles (Cheryl), Paul (Dawn) and John (Joyce); brother, Joseph (Cleo) Pastori. She was the loving grandmother of Jeff, Jeremy, Sarah, Kelli, and Joseph; and great-grandmother of Austin, Joseph, Dominick, Nicolas, Marissa, Taylor, Katie, Olivia, and Micah. Mass of Christian Burial was held Friday, June 30th, 11 a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, with Father John Zapp, celebrant. Burial was at Uniontown Greenlaen Cemetery.
