The following is a more detailed obituary than we were able to obtain at the time of Mrs. Bothwell's death:

Georgia Catherine Brainard was born on July 27, 1890, at Butte Montana, and died at her home in Grand Township, Hand County, South Dakota on December 29, 1925, aged 35 years, 5 months and 2 days. Her mother died in 1894 and her father died in 1900. After that she made her home with her aunt at Elwood, Indiana. She came to South Dakota to teach school in September, 1914, and on April 16, 1917, she was united in marriage to Ray E. Bothwell. To this union two children were born, Harriet Jean, 6 1-2 years old at the time of her mother's death, and little Janice Marlyn, one month old. Besides the husband and children she leaves to mourn her untimely death three sisters, Mrs. Walter Rider now of Charleston,, Washington, Mrs. Will Flannigan of San Francisco, California, and Mrs. Chas. A Nussle of Elwood, Indiana. Two other sisters died in infancy.
