At the age of 92, Vivian Gracia Noonan died on June 10, 2014 in Kerrville, TX.

Vivian was born on December 10, 1921 in San Antonio, TX to Katherine Feldtman Hicks and George Hudson Hicks.

While attending Brackenridge High School, she had the honor to serve as one of the select members of The Sponsors.

On June 28, 1941, she married Thomas Addis Noonan, a second generation San Antonio Architect. His architectural firm, Noonan and Dockery, had the proud distinction of designing many local schools, hospitals, churches, police headquarters and downtown convention center, which would be their legacy. As a devoted wife, Vivian served as President of The Architects Auxillary twice from 1981 - 1982 and again from 1971 - 1972.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas A. Noonan in 2003 and her son-in-law Tom Fordyce.

Survivors include her daughter, Gail Kathleen Noonan Fordyce; son, Dr. Thomas Noonan Jr., MD and his wife Gregoria; 6 grandchildren: Kathleen Vivian Fordyce-Hernandez and husband Robert, Jennifer Ophelia Fordyce-Newsome and husband Lee, Joseph Thomas Fordyce III and wife Kathleen, Rayne Noonan, Chachi Gutierrez, and Ursula Wells and her husband Dr. Stephen Wells, MD; and four great-grandchildren: Jake and Jonathan Fordyce and Isabel and William Wells.
