Richard "Dick" Lee Wiborn Age 65, passed away suddenly on January 25, 2006 at his home. He was born in Lansing, Michigan on May 18, 1940 to Amy and Robert Wiborn who preceded him in death. He resided in Eaton Rapids where he raised his family for 26 years. He has resided in Blanchard, Michigan since 1992 upon his retirement from General Motors Security. He was an avid old car restorer and he enjoyed building street rods. He was a member of Mid Michigan Street Rod Association. He enjoyed his 1929 Model "A" roadster pickup and attended many area car shows. He was always the guy who stepped forward to help his friends no matter what the task and he will be missed by many who were lucky enough to have him for a friend. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Connie (Fitzgerald) Wiborn and 6 children, Bob (Diane) of Portland, Tom of Blanchard, Cindy of Charlotte, Steve (Jane) of Eaton Rapids, Lorie (Mike) Bendt of Ovid, and Sam of Blanchard. He is also survived by his sister, Ruth (Don) Lantrip and brothers, Frank (Jean) Wiborn of Lansing and Rob Wiborn (Mary)of Potterville. He will be truly missed by his grandchildren who he adored; they are, Brandy, Bob, Amy, Jessica, Tasha, Jenee, and Kurt and many extended grandchildren.
