Douglas Morse Aug. 22, 1955 - June 15, 2014 EDWARDSBURG - Douglas Kane "Big D" Morse, 58, of Niles, died peacefully Sunday morning, June 15, 2014, surrounded by his family in Lakeland Regional Medical Center, St. Joseph, Michigan. He was born August 22, 1955 in Niles, Michigan to Franklin and Evelyn (Dollanger) Morse. He married Christina Marie Stuglik December 5, 1987 in Niles. She survives. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, and father-in-law, Joseph Stuglik. Doug was passionate about his family and friends and fishing. Doug will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Christina "Tina" (Stuglik) Morse of Niles; one daughter, Rebekah Morse of Niles; two sons, Jeromie Morse and Michael Morse, both of Niles; one brother, Frank (Kathy) Morse, Jr. of Three Rivers; and his mother-in-law, Betty Stuglik of Niles. Family and friends will gather Thursday, June 19, 2014 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. in Connelly Chapel Wagner Family Funerals, 202 North Broadway Street, Cassopolis. Funeral services will be Friday, June 20, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Mr. Morse will be laid to rest in Adamsville Cemetery, Edwardsburg. The family prefers contributions in Doug's memory be made to the funeral home to help with final expenses.
