Rebecca Sue "Becky" Rowe, 44, of 104 1/2 Edgemont Dr. in Princeton, died Saturday, January 22, 2011 at Princeton Community Hospital. Born in Richmond, Va., November 23, 1966, she was the daughter of the late David Ray Akers, Sr. and Mae Luella Mathena Akers. In addition to her parents, one son, Christopher Allen Rowe preceded her in death.

Survivors include one son, Ray Akers and his wife Dawn of Princeton; one grandson, Jayson Akers; three brothers, David Akers, Jr. and his wife Niki and Bobby Akers, all of Tazewell, Va. and Charles Jackson Akers of Princeton; two sisters, Rosa Davis and Barbara Akers, both of Princeton; stepmother, Vickie Akers of Princeton; one half brother, David Lankford and his wife Melissa of Ada, W.Va.; three half sisters, Jessica Parks and her husband Terry, and Dorothy Larue and her husband Eddie, all of Princeton, and Charlene Mills and her husband Teddy of Athens; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Monday, January 24, 2011 at the George W. Seaver Chapel of Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with Minister Frank Watkins and the Reverend Phillip Clark officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Horeb Cemetery in Princeton. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call at Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton from 12:00 noon to the service hour on Monday.
