Alice Harley

BURBANK - Alice J. Harley, 96, of Burbank, passed away, Sunday, Dec. 21, 2003, at West View Manor Nursing Home in Wooster.

She was born in Creston on Feb. 22, 1907, to Orange and Ora (Whonsetler) Frary and was a lifetime resident of Burbank.

Mrs. Harley was a graduate of Burbank High School and Ashland College. She was a school teacher in Lattisburg and Burbank and had also helped her husband, Ralph Harley in his business Harley Well Drilling in Burbank.

She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Burbank for 80 years.

Surviving are a son, Don (Maryanna) Harley of Burbank; four grandsons, Bob (Linda) Harley of Lodi, Steve (Marla) Harley of Burbank, Tim (Jeana) Harley of Burbank and Jeff (Jennifer) Harley of Burbank and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph H. in 1985, three sisters and three brothers.

Memorial service will be Friday, Dec. 26, 2003, at 11 a.m. at the Faith United Methodist Church, 127 Mill St., Burbank 44214. The Revs. Anthony Perry, Orion Aubihl and Melvin Browning will officiate. A private family graveside service will be held in Burbank Cemetery.

There will be no calling hours.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Faith United Methodist Church in her name.

Parker & Son Funeral Home in Lodi is handling arrangements.
