Private First Class Jackson was a member of Weapons Company, 3rd Battalion, 1st Marines, 1st Marine Division. He was Killed in Action while fighting the enemy at the Boulder City outpost in Korea on July 26, 1953. We got to know each other well in high school because of a fight (between each other.) I cannot remember why we got into a fight. In Korea the last connection of Bobby I had was looking at a wooden box with his name stenciled on it. After all these years I miss you Bobby. You fought a great fight."
