Mrs. Lillian Revell Jordan age 85, passed away Tuesday morning June 17, 2014 at Lillian Carter Nursing Center in Plains. Funeral services will be held from the Graveside at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery Friday morning June 20, 2014 10:00 a.m. Rev. Hugh Harbort will officiate. The following will serve as active Pallbearers Jim Davis, Al Johnson, Robbie Underwood, Jimmy Usry, Cecil Shutters and James Harper. The deacons of Shiloh Baptist Church will serve as Honorary Pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the home of David and Lynn Jordan, 1172 Shiloh Road Americus, Ga.

Mrs. Jordan was born January 1, 1929 in Americus, Ga. the daughter of the late Clinton Revell and Annie Hodge Revell. She retired in 1985 after twenty years of service from the Americus Coca Cola Plant. She worked for several years as a private duty sitter at Magnolia Manor Nursing Center. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. She enjoyed a deep love and appreciation for Gospel Music.

Mrs. Jordan is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Carol Samples [Jerry] of Vale, NC two sons and a daughter-in-law Ronald E. Jordan of Perry, Ga. David T. Jordan [Lynn] of Americus, Ga. Also surviving are four Grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Alvin Jordan in 2000 a Brother William Revell and Sister Annie Laura Kendall.
