Kenneth was member of the Berne Evangelical Church. He was employed at Dunbar Furniture, CTS Corp, and retired from Micro-Matic. He and his uncle, Al Yoder was in the roofing business for a number of years. Ken was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. His interests centered on woodworking and making wooden puzzles.
Survivors include; his wife, daughter, Jennifer L. Grigson of Garland, TX., son, Jay (Ronda) Yoder of Mishawaka, sisters; Darlene (Claren) Lehman, Alice Ehrman, Janis (Leonard) Balsiger, all of Berne, 5 grandchildren, Holly and Travis Grigson, Heidi Skelton, Michael and Aaron Yoder, and 9 great-grandchldren.
Funeral services are Saturday, June 21, 2014 at 10:00 am at the Berne Evangelical Church with visitation 1 hour prior to services. Visitation is also Friday, from 3 to 8 pm at the Yager-Kirchhofer Funeral Home. Officiating is Pastor Kent Fahl. Burial is in the Evangelical Mennonite Church Cemetery. Graveside military rites will be performed by Berne Post #468.
Preferred memorials are to the Church or Swiss Villge.
