Larry Dewayne Breslin,47,was born September 20, 1966, in Shawnee at Mission Hill Hospital to Janie (Hunter) Breslin. He left this world June 4, 2014.
Larry was employed by Hillary Construction as a foreman. He installed fiber optic cable. Larry was especially proud of the relief work he helped in the wake of hurricane Katrina, before that he worked many years for Eaton Corp.
Larry attended school in Shawnee and Bethel. He graduated with a GED from Job Corp. Larry was quite a good artist from an early age. He always had a love for drawling. The feminine form, horse, dragons, and fairy tale creatures were his favorite subjects.
Larry is survived by his mother, Janie (Hunter)Bland, of Shawnee; brothers, James Breslin and David Wise; sister, Peggy McElhaney; four sons, Dustin Breslin, Dylan Breslin and two grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends. Larry was proceeded in death by his father, grandmother, Daisy Whited, uncles, Kenneth Hunter and Butch Hunger, and aunt, Nellie Jo Thompson. There will be a celebration of life for Larry in the near future.
