MRS. FRANK BIRDSALL
DIES IN 77TH YEAR

AT HOME HERE ON WEDNESDAY

Life-Long Resident of Southeast.
Funeral at Her Late Home on Saturday Afternoon.

The death of Mrs. Emma H. Birdsall, widow of the late Frank Birdsall, passed away at her home on Wednesday morning, June 10, 1936, following an illness extending over several weeks during which time the kindly ministrations of her family and proved a great comfort.

Born in Southeast on August 19, 1859, she would soon have celebrated her 77th birthday and had resided in her present home since a very small girl of tender years, except a short time, when her home was in the village. Mrs. Birdsall was the daughter of the late Epinetus and Emily Haines.

Early in life she became the wife of Frank Birdsall, whose sudden death occurred about twenty-five years ago, followed by the sudden death also of her two sons Radcliff and Harold. These three deaths had a tendency to sadden the following years. Her greatest interest in life was in her children and home and her hands were never idle, always doing something for them.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Fowler Losee, of Brewster, Mrs. Vincent Feathers, of Yonkers, and Mrs. Rudolph Lehman, of New York City.

Funeral services will be held at the home on Saturday afternoon at two o'clock and will he conducted by Rev. Charles Dann of the Methodist Church. Interment will be in the family plot at Milltown Cemetery.
