ROFF-Memorial services for Charles Orville "Chock" Maxey, 77, of Roff are 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Lightning Ridge Baptist Church near Roff.

Mr. Maxey died Saturday, June 14, 2014 at his home. He was born March 11, 1937 to Orville T. and Beulah Price Maxey in Ada, Oklahoma. He graduated from Latta High School.

He married Donna Sue Towns. They had three children, Cecil Maxey of Edmond, Debra Edgeman of Springfield, MO, and Becky Wright of Ardmore.

He later married Sherry. She preceded him in death.

Mr. Maxey was a welder until his retirement.

Survivors include his children, Cecil Maxey and wife Shirley, Debra Edgeman and Becky Wright and husband Raymond; and a sister, Marilyn Foltz and husband Ed of Abilene, KS.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Betty Carol Byrd; and his second wife, Sherry.
