Dolores Elizabeth Moreno-King, 68, of Acampo, died March 5 at a local hospital after a long illness. She was born Ja. 2, 1934 in Borger, Texas.
She lived in Culver City, Redondo Beach, Lennox and El Segundo before moving to Lodi in 1981.
Mrs. Moreno-King was a quality inspector for 15 years at Ampex Corp. She was then employed in quality assurance for 13 years by Lika Corp. in Stockton. She retired in 1994.
Mrs. Moreno-King had an extensive collection of chicken and rooster memorabilia. She was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church in Lodi and enjoyed camping, taking care of her grandchildren, who lived with her, and caring for animals.
She is survived by her husband, Bill King of Acampo; two daughters, three sons, and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Doyle Burton, and a grandson, Justin.
