Mrs. Harriet S. Kenyon, widow of Marquis Kenyon, died at her home, No. 167 West Dominick Street, Rome, at 5 o'clock yesterday morning, in the 74th year of her age, after a long and painful illness. The family was well known to the older residents of the city, and Mrs. Kenyon's death will be mourned by the many who had made her acquaintance for she gained the respect and esteem of all who came in contact with her. For the last few years she had been in feeble health, and lived very quietly. She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Nettie Gale of Chicago, one sister, Mrs. W. V. R. Smith of Brooklyn, and one brother, William A. Brainard of Rome.
