William J. Bero, 80, of 3402 Tannery Rd., Two Rivers, died Monday in Two Rivers.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Holy Redeemer Church, Two Rivers. The Rev. Paul Schumacher will officiate and burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.

Mr. Bero was born July 30, 1898, in the Town of Red River, Kewaunee County, son of the late Jule and Mary Moreau Bero. He married Rosemary Flemal Nov. 27, 1917, in the Town of Brussels. She preceded him in death in May of 1976. He resided in Two Rivers since 1929, and was a farmer for 15 years until his retirement.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, a daughter, three sisters, Mrs. Mary Destree, of Green Bay, Mrs. Odile Destree, of Green Bay and Mrs. Clara Johnson, of Green Bay; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren and two
great great grandchildren.

Friends may call at Klein and Stangel Inc. Funeral Home after 5 p.m. Wednesday. A parish memorial service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday and the Senior Citizens will meet at 6 p.m.
