Georgia Leann West, 69, of Twin Falls passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at her home in Twin Falls.
Leann was born on June 30, 1944 in Anaconda, Montana, the daughter of Alexander and Georgia Amer Sbragia. She grew up and attended schools in Montana, graduating from Anaconda High School in 1962.
On June 29, 1963, Leann married the love of her life, Don West, in the Los Angeles LDS Temple in Los Angeles, California. Together they raised three children, Jerry, Carey and David.
Leann was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed the opportunities to serve in many callings over the years.
Leann enjoyed her cats, planting flowers, being in the outdoors and camping, serving others and was avid collector of spoons. Her love was her family and she enjoyed the time they spent together.
Leann is survived by her husband, Don, of Twin Falls; her children, Jerry (Angela) West, of Provo, UT, Carey West, of Salt Lake City, UT, and David West, of Boise; two sisters, Connie Bucholz and Sharon Ricks; one brother, Mike Sbragia; and four grandchildren: Colten, Chance, Bryce and Lily.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Annette "Jo" Dean.
Funeral services for Leann will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at the 1st Ward LDS Church, 847 Eastland Drive North, Twin Falls with Bishop Andrew Mix conducting. Burial will take place on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the Logan Cemetery in Logan, Utah.
A viewing for family and friends will take place on Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Reynolds Funeral Chapel, 2466 Addison Ave. East, Twin Falls as well as from 10:00 a.m. until 10:50 a.m. at the church on Wednesday morning.
Services are under the direction of Reynolds Funeral Chapel, Twin Falls.
