She was laid to rest and buried in Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens. Amanda Abel was born on November 16th, 1976 in Rankin County, Flowood, Mississippi. She died at her home on January 11th, 2013 at 36 years old. She leaves behind her husband of 15 years, Kevin Abel. One son Kade Abel. One daughter Sophia Abel. Her parents Ron and Marie Smith. Her grandparents Lena Galloway of Southaven, and Neil Smith of Oakland. And to all of the friends from the community of Southaven. The family requests that any memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
