Funeral services for longtime Dove Creek resident, Ruby Mae Medley were held at 2:00 pm at the Dove Creek First Assembly of God Church with interment to follow at the Dove Creek Cemetery. Rev. Aaron Barker of Azrec NM and Pastor Charles Lord of The First Baptist Church in Williams AZ, officiated.
Ruby was born on September 14, 1914 in Agra OK, to Alva and Alice Roseanna (Williams) Toles. She passed away on Wednesday April ,2003 in Williams AZ at the age of 88.
She is survived by her children; Clinton (Charlene) Medley of Cahone, Shirley (Jerry) Dennis; Carol (Dave) Martinez of Williams AZ; her sister and brother: Lavonne Luce of Copalis Crossing WA, Jessie Ayers of Cahone CO; Carl (June) Toles of Roseburg OR; her nephews and nieces that she raised: Alva (Carol) Toles of Watford ND; Carl Lee (LaQuinta) Toles of TX; Nita (John) Paiz of Comfort TX, and Ann (John) Jolon of Denver CO. as well as numerous family and friends.
Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, Jack Medley, her son Bruce and his wife Nerita Medley; her two brothers, Marion and wife Faye Toles, and Claude Toles, and her granddaughter Patricia.
