Mr. Wendell J. Reed, 83, of Nashville formerly of Graves County KY died Friday, December 3, 2010, 10:26PM at the Southern Hills Medical Center in Nashville. Mr Reed was retired from Commercial Carriers Teamsters Local #327 in Nashville. He was a WWII Army Veteran. Mr. Reed is survived by a son Wendell Chadwick Reed of Dallas TX; 3 daughters Donna Gail Tucker of Frankfort KY, Patty Reed Parker of Stanford KY, and Yvonne Marie Serrato of Orlando FL. 4 Grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by a brother Kenneth "Shorty" Reed and his parents William A. and Omia (Walker) Reed. There will be private graveside services for Mr. Reed at the Mayfield Memory Gardens. American Legion Post #26 will conduct military graveside rites. There will be visitation on Wednesday, December 8, 2010 from 1:00PM to 3:00PM at the Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield.
