Billy Ray “Bill” Williamson age 72 of Knoxville passed away Sunday, June 14, 2014 at McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital while returning home from his annual fishing trip. He was born on Oct.16, 1941. He was a member of Sevier Heights Baptist Church and retired from Levi's after 30 years of service. He was a loving and generous friend, father, and family member. He was admired, loved and respected by all who knew him well. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Flossie Williamson. Bill was active in his church and was involved in Missionary work. Bill was a 1960 graduate of Union County High School. He enjoyed fishing and golf in his spare time. He loved his favorite dog Junie. He also enjoyed coming back to Blairsville to meet with his high school friends. He will be forever missed by all.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday June 25, 2014 at 11:00 am from the Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery.
