CALDWELL - Marilyn F., 81, Carrolltown, died Jan. 8, 2007, at Miners Medical Center. She was born March 24, 1925, in Spangler, daughter of Fred J. and Thelma (Sharbaugh) Fees. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Nathan Michael Finui; sisters, Mary Fees and Juliana Garrett; and a brother, Fred J. Fees II. She is survived by her children: Mary Anne Righi, Butler; David (Diane) Caldwell, Carrolltown; Carolyn (Matthew) Wright, Calvin; Joan (George "Butch" Jr.) Finui, Carrolltown; Kevin Caldwell, Catasaugua; Rebecca (Randy) Notto, Gettysburg; also 16 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was a graduate of Carrolltown High School and Indiana State Teachers College. She then taught English for Carrolltown and Ebensburg High Schools. She was also a law librarian for Cambria County Courthouse and retired as an adult probation officer from Cambria County in 1996. She was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Altar-Rosary Society, St. Vincent de Paul, Carrolltown American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and Patton Garden Club. She loved swimming, gardening, walking, family and friends. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Stevens Funeral Home Inc., 146 N. Main St., Carrolltown, where a vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Carrolltown, the Rev. Andre Strittmatter, TOR. Interment, church cemetery. Memorials are requested to the family for Perpetual Masses or to St. Benedict Catholic Church Building Fund. www.stevens-fh.com.
