William Albert "Buddy" Dame was born on August 11, 1939 in Center, Oklahoma to Clinton and Pauline (Guess) Dame. He graduated from Vanoss High School in Vanoss, Oklahoma and then East Texas State University in Commerce, Texas with his BS and MS Degrees. He was a Vocational Ag teacher in the Blanket ISD and Brownwood State School. Buddy was a cowboy and loved raising show cattle and horses. He was a Baptist. He is survived by his sister, Edwyna Wood of Flower Mound, Texas; his two sons, Steve Dame and wife Stacey of Balmorhea, Texas, Tim Dame and wife Angela of Eastland, Texas; three grandchildren, Brody Dame and wife Megan, Amy Dame, Cole Dame and wife Amanda; three great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Harper and Voss. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter, Carnie (Dame) Caporale.
