Leonard C. Ash, 87 of Girard, passed away June 11, 2014 at the Community Health Center of Branch County. Leonard was born June 2, 1927 to Wilford and Rowena Ash. He was married to Pearl A. Mock. He is survived by 4 children; Sharon (Ed) Davis, Terry (Salinda) Ash, Garry (Teresa) Ash and Sandy Barnard, one brother. He has many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews that survive. Leonard was preceded in death by his parents, Wilford and Rowena Ash, 2 brothers, Herman and Carl.

Leonard was employed at the Brass Foundry and he retired from Evans Products. He was an avid sportsman and loved to do woodworking. He was a very kind hearted person and loved to help others, donating to many charities. He also loved dancing.

Services will be held at the Girard United Methodist Church on Wednesday at 12 Noon with 2 hours of visiting starting at 10 am with Pastor John Baker of World Harvest Church officiating.
Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Girard Township. There will be a lunch following the services at the church.
