Richmond and Ruth moved to Utica, Winnebago County, Wisconsin around 1849 and lived right next door to her brother Benjamin Hira Whitman. Benjamin later moved to Omro, in Winnebago County, Wisconsin and Richmond and Ruth returned to Portland, Chautauqua County, New York, before the 1860 census.

Eunice's death info. is from the "Thayer Genealogy Book", but I question Eunice's date and possible place of death, as she was alive on the 30th of August 1850 in the Utica, Winnebago County, Wisconsin census. She is not on the 1860 or 1870 census with the family.
