Funeral Service will be 11 AM Saturday, June 28, at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home NORTH CHAPEL in New Ulm with burial in the Gaylord City Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the time of service at the funeral home on Saturday.
Florence is survived by her daughter, Charlene "Charlie" (Allen) Thomas of Rockford; a son, Eugene Buchholz of Delano; eight grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ivan Buchholz; daughter, Caron Lindberg; and a grandson, Russell Lindberg.
Florence Delphine Doucette was born January 31, 1921 in Belle Prairie to Eugene and Laura (St. Onge) Doucette. She was united in marriage to Ivan Buchholz on November 20, 1941 in New York. After marriage they lived in Little Falls. They moved to Gaylord in 1961 where they owned and operated the Gaylord Flower Shop until her husband's death in 1988. Florence retired in 1989 and moved to New Ulm. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in New Ulm.
