Pauline K. Deshler, 85, of Bangor, died Sunday, March 5, at home. She was born December 20, 1920, in Pen Argyl, a daughter of the late Wassyl and Anna (Modney) Krouch. Her beloved husband, Harry H. Deshler Jr., died in 1985. Pauline was a homemaker. She was a member of the Presbyterian Parish Bangor and Roseto in Bangor where she served on several committees. She was a graduate of Pen Argyl High School. Survivors: Two sons, Dennis W. and his wife Shirley E. of Stroudsburg, David B. and his wife Lorraine E. of Bangor; three sisters, Mary Regrut of Auburn, Pa., Margaret Souders of Ocala, Fla., Elizabeth Popovice of Nazareth; a brother, Steven Krouch of Pen Argyl; six grandchildren, Wayne and Eric of Stroudsburg, Bailee and Daniel of Bangor, Denise and Amanda in Florida. Sisters, Anna Krouch and Helen Firilglio, died earlier.
