Isaac Jackson was a son of Stephen Jackson.

Newspaper accounts of his death reveal (Fri. 4 Nov. 1910): "ISAAC JACKSON died at his home at Jane Lew Wednesday. He was 85 years of age. Survived by one son Minter Jackson, and three daughters, Mrs. Nettie Bailey, Mrs. Dora Watson and Mrs. *John Carr, all of whom reside at Jane Lew, except Mrs. Carr, who lives at Roanoke. Funeral held this afternoon at the Broad Run Baptist Church." -- The Weston Democrat, (Fri. 25 Nov. 1910): IN MEMORIAM: Died Wednesday (Nov. 2) at his residence in Jane Lew. Born Harrison Co., 5th November 1825, died 2nd November 1910. On January 21, 1847 Mr. Jackson married Hepzibah Storts, had six children, two of whom, Elliot and Alvinza J. Jackson, died while they were young. He was the son of Stephen P. Jackson, grandson of Steve Jackson, and great-grandson of Edward Jackson."
