She married I.D. Grimes on March 8, 1945, in San Antonio.
She was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband of more than 60 years, on Oct. 29, 2005.
Survivors include children, Linda Ann Wright, Mary Jane Hegdal (Paul), and Robert Henry Grimes (Valorie)Rosharon; grandchildren Brian and Brandon Key, and Christina, Chandler, and Logan Grimes; brothers John T. "Buddy" Haese, and Billy Haese; nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held Monday, Jan. 16, at 3 p.m., with Gordon Lindley, pastor of the Floresville Church of Christ, officiating with interment following.
Pallbearers were Mary's grandchildren.
