Roy W. Blauvelt, 84, passed away Friday, March 16, 2007 at his home in Holton, Kansas. Visitation will be on Monday, March 19 from 6-8 p.m. at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Floral Hills Chapel. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, March 20 at 12 noon also at the chapel. Roy was born September 22, 1922 in Kansas City, Missouri. Roy was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during WWII. Roy was preceded in death by his parents, wife Louise D. Blauvelt, 1 brother, 1 sister & 1 granddaughter. He is survived by his son Dale D. Blauvelt of Topeka, KS., daughters, Marilyn Burge of Perry, KS, & Joyce Lockhart of Holton, KS, 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, 3 brothers & 1 sister.
