GATE CITY, Va. - Ima Jean Frazier, 67, entered into rest on Saturday (August 5, 2006) at her residence.

She loved to cook, play bingo and enjoyed outdoor living.

She was born November 5, 1938 in Scott County, Va. to the late Lawrence Lee Frazier and Bower Renda Frazier.

Including her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack G. Pearcy, Sr.; three sisters, Maggie Tipton, Willie Ruth Quillen, Geneva Deaver; one brother, Henry Frazier.

Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Renda Faye Keith and Johna Kay and Josh Lane; sons and daughters-in-law, William Lee (Bill) and Barbara Pearcy, Jack and Bonnie Pearcy; step-children and spouses, Johnny and Beverly Sturgill, Jimmy and Judy Pearcy, Kenny and Christy Pearcy, Kristy and Don Lane, Debra and Buddy Tate, Patty and Ray Hutchins, Sheila and Jeff Ball, Barbara and Bill Long; sisters, Mary Dell Tunnel, Shirley and Howard Oaks, Allie Fair and Ernest Blair, twin sister and brother-in-law, Jane and Cliff Catron; grandchildren, Jody Ray Pearcy, Michael Pearcy, Derrick Keith, Craig Keith, Brian Osborne, Dakota Pearcy, Tess Lane, Kayla Pearcy, Amber Pearcy; great grandchildren, Logan Pearcy, Katie Pearcy and Haliey Grace Keith; several step-grandchildren and great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; many friends and family which she held dearly.

The family will receive friends from 12 to 3 p.m. on Sunday at Gate City Funeral Home and anytime at the residence.

Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Monday in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home, with Mike Fields and John Hackney officiating.

Music will be provided by Amber and Kayla Pearcy and Bob Smallwood.

Burial will follow the service at the Pearcy Cemetery, Pattonsville, Va.

Nephews will serve as pallbearers.

Jerry Broadwater, Cleveland Tipton, Bo Taylor, Earnest Blair, Cliff Catron, David Caldwell and Howard Oaks will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Gate City Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
