He served his country enlisting in the US Army. He had worked in the construction industry and at Fraser Shipyards. He also was a logger and truck driver.
Bud was an avid hunter, fisherman and Green Bay Packers fan. He loved stock car racing, always racing in the #99 car. He also enjoyed socializing with his friends.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Fern; and their children, Cynthia and Kenneth; his parents; step-fathers, Henry Koenen and Henry Rautio; brothers and sisters, Alvin, Ray, Richard, Minnie and Muriel; and friend, Nellie Brown.
Bud is survived by his children, Wesley and Shelloy (Bob Johnsen) Miller and their mother, Alice Miller, all of Superior; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at Lake Nebagamon Cemetery. Military honors will be accorded by the Richard I Bong American Legion, Post #435.
