Marzetta Honn passed away on Friday, June 27, 2014 at her daughter's home in Wheatland.
Marzetta was born April 9, 1929 in Washington the daughter of Ray and Rose Moore.
She was reared and educated in Washington. Soon after graduation she became a nanny for a family in Idaho. She met and married Ray Honn and together they took up farming. After Ray passed away she moved to Wyoming where she made her home until her passing. Marzetta had a great sense of humor even while she had been sick. Some of her hobbies included harmonica, singing, and she loved taking things apart like a piano, fixing it, and putting it back together again. What she loved the most was being surrounded by her loving family.
She is survived by her children, Shirley Honn (David) of Idaho, Sharon McCarty (Al) of Wyoming, Stanley Honn (Bonnie) of Idaho, and Sandra Honn-Ruediger of Washington; siblings, William "Willie", George, Jim, Glynn, Donna, Henry and Cliff; twelve grandchildren; and thirty great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ray Honn; siblings, Harley, Roberta, and Wilbur Jr.
Serving as pallbearers will be Robert Cortney, Clay Howe, Cody Howe, Steven McCarty, Jeremy Porter, and Larry Wilson.
Friends and family may call on the church Thursday, from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M.
A memorial to Chairbound Hunters, P.O. Box 711, Wheatland, Wyoming 82201 would be appreciated by the family.
