Mrs. Throop was born March 16, 1905 in Moberly, Missouri and passed away February 24, in Whittier, after a long illness. She was 85 years of age.
Mrs. Throop had lived the last nearly eight years of her life at the home of her daughter and son in law, Beverly and Russell Shatto m Hacienda Heights.
She was preceded in death by two children, Melvin and Lois Throop and her husband, Everett Arthur Throop, deceased June, 25, 1970.
She is survived by her six children, daughter Anita Adams and her husband Paul of Bodfish; Marilyn Rahm and her husband Frank of Bodfish; Beverly Shatto and her husband Russell of Hacienda Heights; and Dee Huckelberry and her husband Countrs of Weldon; also two sons, Roger Throop of Colton and Gary Throop of Bakersfield.
She is also survived by brothers Lowell White and Marvin White; a sister Florence Dcxyier and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins, 16 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and one great great grandchildren. Dee and her husband Everett moved to Lake Isabella in the mid 60's from Compton. They spent many weeks and weekends camped at Paradise Cove, their favorite campsite around the lake.
