James David Laurence, 51, died on February 5, 2013 at Banner Baywood Hospital, Mesa, Arizona after having a massive heart attack.
James David Laurence was born December 29, 1961 at St Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada to Robert Wylie Laurence and Noella Mary Van Vleet. He married Jody Lynn Carrington on July 4, 2001 in Tempe, Arizona. They lived in Arizona for 12 years. Jim and Jody have 4 children: Jordan Lynn (12), Joseph David (10) and Justine Noella (10), and Jacob Chandler Laurence (8).
Jim was very active with James Madison School and Taylor Junior High school activities as well as Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. Jim was in sales most of his life from boats, RVs, and computers. He was currently working full time at Best Buy in Mesa. Jim loved to travel and was always planning a new road trip. Every summer the family would pack up the RV and travel across the country. 48 states and most of Canada have seen them traveling through. He loved HOCKEY and the water so much. Boats and swimming in the ocean with his kids was always a priority.

Niece Andrea (Jaan) Lilles of Toronto, Ontario, Niece Allison (Roger) Prenevost of Toronto, Ontario, niece Danielle Michaud of Ontario and nephew Matthew Michaud of New Market, Ontario, niece Alexandra Umbach of New market, Ontario and nephew Nicholas Umbach of New Market, Ontario. Nieces Jasime Cloos of Clinton, Minnesota and Hayley Larson of Odessa, Minnesota. Many great nephews and nieces as well.
Jim is preceded in death by his father Robert Laurence and his brother Brian Laurence. His ashes will be spread by his family and memorial will be placed in Winnipeg, Manitoba by his Father and Grandmother Laurence at St Vital Cemetery in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada this summer.
