William Kerry Harris Stone was born September 19, 1822, in Franklin County, Alabama. He married Anna Ladd in 1843. Anna was the daughter of Amos Ladd, Jr., and Anna Stone. No one has been able to determine who W.K.H.’s parents were. Most researchers believe he was a grandson of Solomon Stone and Elizabeth Ladd. W.K.H. died January 22, 1892.
