Jerry was the son of John Leslie Hall & Nellie Almira McCraight-St. Charles. He had 5 siblings: Betty May, John LeRoy "Johnny", Barbara Ann, Leslie George "Les", & Beverly Jean. He also has 2 half-siblings: Stanley Wallace St. Charles, & Kenneth Warren St. Charles.
He married Ruth Naomi Hawk on Mar. 25, 1950 in Wyandotte, Wayne County, Michigan. They had 4 children; Linda, Gerald, Dennis, & Wanda. Shortly after the marriage, they moved to Atlantic City, New Jersey. They did move back to Michigan and continued there until their divorce in 1960.
He had a second family with Jeannie Mercier. They had 3 boys: Jeffrey, Gary & Daniel.
Later, Jerry had 4 children with Montie Faye Truitt. They provided the children a loving home environment. Those children are: Douglas Kane, Gregory Allan, Mary Dianne, & Jerry Richard.
He was an accomplished butcher and later became a semi-truck driver. He enjoyed horse racing, and was a fantastic pool player. You could say he enjoyed life to it's fullest.
