Alma "Ruby" Marshall, 71, was a daughter of Orville and Nellie Christian Ferrell. She married Carl Marshall November 8, 1940. He died March 3, 1977.

Surviving are two sons, Richard and Duane, four daughters, Shirley Sledge, Debby Spencer, Maggie Wood and Teresa Gatewood, two brothers, Jim Ferrell and Gale Ferrell,one sister, Lena Linkous, 18 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by three sons, one daughter, two brothers and one sister.
