Mr. Amick was born in Batesburg, SC, May 1, 1928, and passed away Sunday, April 25, 2010. He was a son of the late Owen M. Amick and Evelyn Heywood Amick . Mr. Amick was predeceased by his wife, Myrtis Amick . He was a member of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church. Mr. Amick was a machinist with A&P Electric Company.
Mr. Amick is survived by his children, Judy Jones (Melvin) of Gaston, Tony Amick (Brenda) of Red Bank and Paulette Keaton (Willard) of Lexington; ten grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren; two great-greatgrandchildren; sisters, Louise Mack (Eric) of Gaston and Marguerite Kitchens (Eddie) of West Columbia. The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff of Agape Senior Care and the hospice staff. Thank you also to a special friend, Ann Fogle, who made him laugh a lot.
