Margie Lorene Rushing, 77, of Pine Bluff, passed away Friday, January 6, 2017, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Rushing was born December 31, 1939 at Rowell, to the late Lincoln Garfield Sipes and Helen Augusta Roberts Sipes.
She was reared and received her education in Pine Bluff.
She married A. B. “Buddy” Rushing, Jr. on June 1, 1957. Mr. Rushing passed away January 25, 2013.
Mrs. Rushing worked as a cashier for T G & Y and Magic Mart. She enjoyed drawing, painting, cooking, and spoiling her grandchildren.
She is survived by her sons, Jimmy Rushing of Star City, Carl (Lisa) Rushing of Pine Bluff, and Tim Rushing of Grady; a daughter, Debra (Mike) Harris of Pine Bluff; 15 grandchildren, Josh (Sonja), Brittany, Houston (Whitney), Heather (Garrett), Sarah (Bryan), Katie (Jason), Donny, Zachary, Kenny, T. J. (Adrienne), Matt, Tyler (Syndee), Brendan, Summer Deann, and Megan; ten great-grandchildren, Patience, Bryleigh, Scarlett, Jayden, Jaycee, Bryan Jr., Emmett, Aaron, Abby, and Aiden; a brother, L. C. Sipes (Lois) of White Hall; and a sister, Jane Jacobs (Bob) of Pine Bluff.
Mrs. Rushing was also preceded in death by her parents; a son, Donald Rushing; four brothers, James Sipes, Richard Sipes, Larry Sipes, and Robert Tucker; and two sisters, Erma Lee McLarrin and Jean Davenport.
The family will receive friends Monday, 1:00 to 2:00 PM, at Cranford Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be Monday, January 9, 2017, 2:00 pm, in the Chapel of Cranford Funeral Home with Brian Rushing officiating.
Burial will follow at Rowell Cemetery.
