Lena May (Compton) Leffler was the daughter of Norris Matthew and Mary Louise (Brigham) Compton. She was the wife of Rev. John Ford Leffler. They were married Horseheads, New York February 1, 1898. Rev. Leffler was a minister in the Genesee Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church/The Methodist Church. He died December 21, 1945. Her mother was a direct descendant of Thomas Brigham, who migrated from England to the Massachusetts Bay Colony in 1631.
