Janette H. VandenBosch, 91, of Las Vegas, passed away Monday, Jan. 30, 2006. She was born Aug. 22, 1914, in Iowa, and resided in Las Vegas since 1959. Janette was a retired housekeeper. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard VandenBosch; sister, Dorothy Gettle; brother, William Gettle; and daughters, Janette Cox and Dorothy Walsh. Janette is survived by her daughters, Carol Williams of Spring Valley, Calif., and Beverly Pond of Las Vegas; brother, Robert Gettle of Las Vegas; 14 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from noon-7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3. Service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, both at Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Interment immediately following at Palm Memorial Park-Las Vegas. Arrangements handled by Palm Mortuary-Downtown.
