Mrs. Juanita K. Ackerman, 27, of 211 Prior Road, Pataskala, Ohio, died Wednesday morning, December 12, 1973, in Mt. Carmel East Hospital, Columbus, following an illness.

She was born in Parkersburg, West Virginia, September 7, 1946, the daughter of John and Hazel Holiday Buchanan.

Mrs. Ackerman was a member of the First Baptist Church, at Etna.

Surviving are her husband, Jimmy Ackerman; one son, Jimmy Travis Ackerman, of the home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Buchanan, of Newark, and two brothers, Edsel Buchanan, of Newark and Glen Archer, of Reader, West Virginia.

Funeral services were held Saturday morning at ten o’clock in the First Baptist Church at Etna, with Rev. Danny Smith officiating. Graveside services and burial were at the Middle Church Cemetery, near Lewisville, Saturday afternoon at two o’clock, with the Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home of Newark in charge.
