LeClaire, Ada Zelia, of Escanaba, formerly of Davison, age 96. Died Wednesday, August 16, 2000, at the Bishop Noa Home for Senior Citizens. Funeral mass will be celebrated Monday, August 21, 2000 at St. John Catholic Church, 404 N. Dayton St, Davison. Rev. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski celebrant. Internment to follow at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Mrs. LeClaire will lie in state at the Allen Funeral Home, 9136 E. Davison Rd, Davison, where family will receive visitors Sunday, 3-9 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7 p.m. and visitation one hour prior to funeral mass at the church Monday. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. John Catholic Church Building Fund. Ada was born in Sault Saint Marie, Ontario, Canada, August 16, 1904, to Emile and Angelina (Nadon) Belanger. She married Dona LeClaire at St. Mary Catholic Church in Flint on April 22, 1930. He preceded her in death March 11, 1982. Ada was a former member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Perkins, Mi., St. Mary Catholic Church, Flint, and St. John Catholic Church, and the Blue Army. She is survived by 6 children, Lionel (Brenda) of Lapeer, Bernard (Barbara) of Gladstone, Mary Sevo of Flint, Gerald (Leta) of Rock, Ralph (Dorothy) of East Tawas, and Eunice (Kelly) Elledge of Rock. 18 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, son-in law, Jim Sevo, 17 brothers and sisters, and 3 grandsons.
