Services for Amelia J. Stevens Piano, 78, of 110 Armstrong Road, Lakeland, who died Wednesday at Community-General Hospital, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Immanuel Church of the Nazarene, Taunton. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Warners .
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at John C. Tindall Funeral Home, 1921 W. Genesee St.
A native of Central Bridge, Mrs. Piano lived in Lakeland 48 years. She was a licensed practical nurse and she retired in 1972 from Castle Rest Nursing Home. Mrs. Piano previously was employed many years with the former County Home. Her husband, Michael, died in 1980.
Mrs. Piano was a member of the Immanuel Church of the Nazarene and the Lakeland Senior Citizens. She was a volunteer until September at Van Duyn Home and Hospital.
Surviving are two sons, Michael C. and Steven J., both of Lakeland; two daughters, Linda Harrington of Camillus and Sandra Tropea of Liverpool; four brothers, Vernet of New Jersey, Foster and Donald, both of Altamont, and Robert Stevens of Cobleskill; two sisters, Emma Sidney of Howes Cave and Hilda Klahr of Texas; 11 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
