A resident of Baton Rouge, she died at 9:15 p.m. Sunday, March 18, 2007 at her daughter's home in Baton Rouge. She was 82 and a native of Eunice. Visiting at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 15615 Jefferson Highway, on Tuesday, March 20, from 10 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Michael Collins. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by three daughters and a son-in-law, Stephanie A. Pitre, and Deborah N. and Ronald Hedrick, all of Baton Rouge, and Phyllis J. Brashear, Johnstown, Ohio; three sons and two daughters-in-law, James and Donna Neal, Houston, Dale and Libby Gail Neal, Port Barre, and Barney J. Neal, Baker; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Norma T. and Joe Richard, Baton Rouge, and Gursline T. and John Rogers, Atlanta; 18 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Marvin Neal; parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Doly Thibodeaux; two brothers, sister, son-in-law, great-granddaughter and godchild. Pallbearers will be Dale Neal Sr., Barney Neal Sr., Chuck Pitre, Ronnie Hedrick II, Chad Hedrick and Barney Neal Jr. Honorary pallbearers are James Neal, Ronald Hedrick Sr., Dustin Neal, Eric Hedrick, U.S. Air Force, and Jason Neal. She was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or the American Diabetes Association, 244 S.
