She also had a passion for crossword puzzles, EWTN, Lawrence Welk shows, Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. Most recently, she was watching classic movies recounting the plots in minute detail to anyone who would listen.
From notes in her personal diary regarding her death: "To my children (ALL SEVEN) and their spouses, I leave you with nothing very valuable but my love and prayers, hoping to see all of you with me, hopefully, in Heaven with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and His Blessed Mother Mary and all our dear relatives and friends with the saints of God!"
